My wife and I took our two kids to see Toy Story 3 this week and I have to say that it lived up to its hype. I've never been what someone would call a "Toy Story Fanatic", in fact, I can't seem to recall what happened in the second movie, but I do know that TS3 was a hit! I heard a lot of people (young and old) talking about how much of a tear-jerker the movie was, so I was geared up for it, but both my wife and I asked each other "when are we supposed to bawl our eyes out?" It just didn't happen. There are a couple of moments when your heart goes out to some of the characters, but I guess since they're just toys, the empathy only went so far!
My kids loved this movie too! It was their second time to see the movie and there were a couple of moments that frightened them (especially with the extremely loud theater that we watched the movie in). There was no language unless you count the slight comments that only the adults would understand in which case there were only a few of those times. The overall message of the movie was great too! I highly recommend this movie to all movie lovers(especially if you have kids)!
